Causes We Support

Our mission extends beyond making better snacks.

Our Commitment to Better Health

CrunchCraft was born from a personal story. I watched my dad get diagnosed with type 2 diabetes — and then reverse it through dietary changes alone. That experience was a wake-up call and proof that what you eat can change your life. It put a fire under me to build something that makes eating well easier, more accessible, and more delicious.

That mission extends beyond our products. These are the organizations working on the problems I care most about: rescuing food that would otherwise go to waste, advancing evidence-based nutrition science, and helping people reverse chronic disease through lifestyle change.

Society of St. Andrews

endhunger.org

The Society of St. Andrew brings people together to harvest and share healthy food, reduce food waste, and build caring communities by offering nourishment to hungry neighbors.

What They Do

St. Andrews runs gleaning programs across the United States, rescuing fresh produce from farms and fields that would otherwise be discarded — often for cosmetic reasons like being the wrong shape, the wrong color, or ripe at the wrong time. Their volunteers harvest this food and deliver it directly to people who need it.

Why We Support Them

Food waste is one of the most solvable problems in the American food system. Millions of pounds of perfectly good, nutritious food are thrown away every year while people go hungry. The Society of St. Andrews attacks that problem with remarkable efficiency and zero waste of donor dollars.

Charity Navigator: 4-star rating, 97% score. Roughly 3 cents per serving — a single dollar can feed about 30 people.

Coalition for Metabolic Health

coalitionformetabolichealth.org

To make metabolic health mainstream by advancing and amplifying high-quality nutrition science to drive policy, clinical care, and public awareness.

What They Do

CMH is a national alliance of researchers, clinicians, policy experts, and advocates working at the intersection of nutrition, chronic disease, and public policy. They advocate for evidence-based nutrition policy, push for the integration of therapeutic nutrition into routine medical care, and educate the public about the role of diet in preventing and reversing chronic disease.

Why We Support Them

Six in ten Americans live with at least one chronic disease, and over 90% show signs of metabolic dysfunction. CMH advocates for reducing consumption of added sugar and refined carbohydrates, expanding access to nutritious food, and ensuring patients have access to evidence-based nutritional interventions. This is exactly the philosophy behind CrunchCraft.

CMH launched in September 2025. Financial data is not yet available through Charity Navigator. Founded with a $50M commitment from the Baszucki family, independent of food and pharmaceutical industry funding.

American Diabetes Society

americandiabetessociety.org

To empower individuals with diabetes to achieve normal blood sugar levels and maintain a healthy A1c, leading to a better quality of life and fewer complications.

What They Do

ADS is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit focused on preventing and reversing type 2 diabetes through education, advocacy, and support. Unlike organizations that frame diabetes solely as a condition to be managed with medication, ADS advocates that type 2 diabetes is preventable and reversible through lifestyle changes — particularly carbohydrate restriction, whole-food nutrition, and physical activity. Founded by Dr. Ken Berry, MD, alongside Dr. Eric Westman (Duke Health), Dr. Ben Bikman (BYU), Dr. Mariela Glandt, and Dr. Tony Hampton.

Why We Support Them

CrunchCraft exists because I watched my father reverse his type 2 diabetes through dietary change. The American Diabetes Society was built on the same conviction: that the most powerful tool for addressing the diabetes epidemic is not a new drug, but better food and better information. Their focus on education and lifestyle intervention mirrors the reason CrunchCraft was created in the first place.

ADS was founded in 2024. Financial data is not yet available. Committed to full transparency and will never accept food or pharmaceutical industry donations.
